Three TSC Players Organize Recycling Program at OCYSA

Thoroughbred Soccer Club players Austin Mullen, Michael and Luke Banta, with support from their parents, have organized the first recycling program at the OCYSA Buckner Complex and the OCYSA South Complex.  The program provides recycle bins (the ones with yellow lids) for the collection of plastic bottles.  OCYSA truly appreciates the initiative shown by these players and the responsibility they have accepted.  Let’s all do our part to support the program and recycle those plastic bottles! ____________________________________________________________

Field and Facility Improvement Project Update:

New Fields:  One of the two fields being developed in the new park area adjacent to the OCYSA Soccer Complex has been seeded.  Grade work on the second field is underway .  The Thoroughbreds Soccer Club is spearheading this initial effort in developing the fields.  Initial financing comes from funds generated by the Taste of Thoroughbreds event.

Handyman List:  A “Handyman” list of maintenance projects has been developed by OCYSA identifying facility items needing repair.  If you have “handyman” skills and are able to volunteer some time, please check the list (see link on this page).  OCYSA will pay for all materials.
