Soccer... The Game for ALL Kids!

Consign Your Used Soccer Cleats!

Want some money in YOUR pocket?  Consign your used soccer cleats!  In an effort to help offset the cost to families already involved in soccer, or who have a desire to try the sport out for the first time, buy or sell previously used, gently worn soccer footwear.  OSC will place a bin outside the concession stand any day that concessions are open.  You can drop off any old cleats or indoors shoes you would like to consign.  Before dropping them off, just follow these simple instructions to prepare your shoes for sell.  Any profits from selling your shoes goes directly back to you – not to the club, not to a specific team, but straight to you!

Here’s how it works:

1.       Clean up the shoes.  Tie the shoes together, to eliminate the potential for shoes to get separated (zip ties work great!).

2.       Write the following on an index card:

             a.       Type of shoe

             b.      Size of shoe

             c.       Price you would like to receive.  If no charge, write ‘FREE’.

3.       Place the shoes and index card in a large zip-lock baggie.  Tape the index card to the inside of the baggie or inside bottom of shoe, to avoid it getting lost from the shoes.

4.       Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope in the zip lock baggie. (This is for mail of payment back to you.)

5.       Drop off the shoes at the clubhouse (concession stand building) of the OSC Soccer Park game fields.

If you have used shoes, drop them off.  If you need shoes, pick them up.  Be sure to mail your payment to the seller using the included addressed envelope.  This sale is not supervised and is completely handled by an honor system.  If you take shoes, please follow up with payment in the self-addressed stamped envelope.  In order to keep this program successful, organized, and beneficial, please do not allow your child to rummage through the shoes without your supervision.  Please follow through with honesty, so this program will remain a success for anyone needing soccer footwear.

The Development of Soccer Fields on the Sports Park Property Continues

Progress continues on the development of soccer fields at the new Sports Park, located behind the OC High School.  One field has been completed and work on the second field continues.  Initial construction work on the new access road to the property has been completed.

Field Closing and Game Cancellation Policy

OSC reserves the right to close soccer fields and cancel scheduled games at any time, due to inclement weather, unsafe field conditions, or potential for severe turf damage (wet, soft fields).  OSC will make every attempt to announce a field closing well in advance of game time to save travel.  Field closing announcements will be made on FacebookOne-Call phone and text, and through email distribution lists.
