Text Box: Soccer parents are the backbone of OCYSA organization, taking on coaching responsibilities, assuming team parent roles, volunteering in the concession stand, helping with field and facility maintenance, working tournaments, committing to board leadership positions, and many more unsung hero roles.  
Please do your part and volunteer to assist with OCYSA programming.  You will make some very good friends and the work is more fun than work.  More importantly, you will be assuming on active role in providing a positive and rewarding experience for all the young soccer players.

Kentucky Youth Soccer Positive Parenting Website

Kentucky Youth Soccer feels strongly that the parent involvement in a child's soccer experience is important; therefore KYSA maintains a special section of their website dedicated to help parents learn more about Positive Parenting.

Parent, Spectator Code of Conduct

To insure a positive, rewarding soccer experience for all involved with OCYSA programs, especially the players, OCYSA requires all players, coaches, referees, and spectators to play, coach, officiate, and enjoy soccer in accordance with the OCYSA Code of Conduct.  Individuals not able to comply with the Code of Conduct will loose their privilege to participate in and enjoy OCYSA programming.  OCYSA Code of Conduct

 

Parental Participation Policy

OCYSA is a non-profit organization managed and operated by volunteers. Parental participation in operating the program is needed and required.  Please choose your preferred volunteer roles during registration.  If you can't volunteer, please pay a non-participation donation of $25.00 per player at registration.

OCYSA KIDSAFE Program

The OCYSA KIDSAFE Program helps provide an environment  safe from abuse for all children participating in OCYSA programs.  OCYSA requires a completed KidSafe Volunteer Disclosure Form from all volunteers that have regular contact with children including, but not necessarily limited to the following:  Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Staff Members, Program Directors, Administrators/Board Members.  Click here to read the details of the OCYSA KIDSAFE Program.
