OCYSA recreational soccer programs provide all interested children the opportunity to participate in and enjoy the game of soccer without regard for athletic ability or soccer skills, up to the limits of OCYSA to accommodate them. Team formation is by blind draw with no player tryouts. Fall and spring outdoor leagues are offered. The fall season runs from the end of August through the first of November, with registration during the summer. The spring season runs from the middle of March to the first of June, with registration beginning in January.
Each level of OCYSA recreational soccer programming includes an age specific training curriculum that follows KYSA/USYSA player training and development guidelines. In addition, OCYSA offers all players the opportunity to gain advanced supplemental soccer training through specialized programs offered by OCYSA and Thoroughbreds Soccer Club.
OCYSA will deny no child the opportunity to play recreational soccer due to financial hardship.
Little Kicks Club
Little Kicks Club introduces young children, ages 4 through 6 to soccer. The focus of Little Kicks is FUN, using simple kid’s games to expose children and their parents to the basic fundamentals of soccer. With Little Kicks — “the game is the teacher.” The relaxed structure of the program allows all children to participate in soccer immediately–at their pace. Each Little Kicks session uses 2 game fields and a “3 on 3″ or a “4 on 4″ small-sided team structure to maximize the playing time of all children and increase their opportunity for ball “touches”.

TOPSoccer
TOPSoccer is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, age 8-19, which has a mental or physical disability. Our goal is to enable young athletes with disabilities to become valued and successful members of the OCYSA youth soccer family. The program is only offered periodically, depending on the availability of volunteers and player participation numbers. When offered, registration for the program is conducted as part of the seasonal recreational soccer sign-up process.
Please volunteer to help with the Top Soccer program at OCYSA.
